Unified Planning Work Program
The purpose of this Unified Planning
Work Program (UPWP) is to provide a transportation planning work program
for the NFRMPO.
This document contains an action plan that
assigns responsibilities for tasks to the Metropolitan Planning
Organization (MPO), its member governments, and to CDOT.
Responsibility for carrying out
the Continuing, Comprehensive, and Cooperative (3C) planning process
rests jointly with the NFR MPO and CDOT, as described in the 2006 MOA between the two
agencies. The “3C” process in the NFRT & AQPC study area is
designed to provide for centralized administration combined with maximum
participation and direction from local governments.
