Jobs for Main Street Act 2010

There are strong indications that additional legislation will be enacted at the federal level to stimulate the American economy and create jobs by dedicating funds to be invested in transportation infrastructure.  In preparation for such legislation, CDOT, working in coordination with local planning partners, has developed an early implementation candidate projects list.

Below please find this recommended early implementation candidate projects list which has been developed on a statewide basis, and is based upon draft legislation funding amounts.  This list was developed in order to respond to the rapid project readiness timeframe that is anticipated with the proposed legislation for at least half of the funds made available.  Subsequent projects for future implementation of remaining funds will be added as we move forward and more information is known.

In addition, this posting of the early implementation candidate projects list serves as the public involvement posting for any listed projects requiring a TIP or STIP Policy Amendment.  Please note that this list depicts those projects that are eligible for funding, but not all projects will be selected due to legislative constraints.

Comments on this list will be taken until March 2, 2010.  Please submit any comments/questions to:
