Transportation Survey
Business Survey to Assist Transportation Plan
Fort Collins, Colorado – In today’s marketplace, the cost and time to travel between home and work is ever-increasing. Ten of thousands of employees criss-cross Northern Colorado on a daily basis to work and back. The business community is being asked to adapt to the changing transportation needs and challenges of their employees.
The North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization (NFRMPO) is conducting an online survey about how companies have addressed transportation-related issues for their employees and customers. The survey responses will be used to develop regional transportation strategies and recommendations for the Long-Range Travel Demand Management (TDM) Plan, a component of the NFRMPO’s 2035 Regional Transportation Plan. TDM are the actions that improve our transportation system efficiency by altering how the transportation system is used instead of how it is expanded.
The survey will be available until May 7th, 2010. The survey is available online at: www.nfrmpotravelsurvey.com .
All companies submitting a survey will be entered into a drawing for a $250 gift card to the retailer or restaurant of their choice.
