Technical Advisory Committee

Purpose
The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) includes staff from counties, municipalities, state or federal agencies, as well as public and private entities involved in transportation or air quality. The TAC is responsible for reviewing and recommending approval of the following:
- Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP)
- Transportation Improvement Programs (TIP) consisting of projects, utilizing federal and state funds, that are reflective of the jurisdiction they represent
- Long-range regional transportation and transportation-related air quality plans
- Policies and programs as may be directed by the Planning Council
