Transit Advisory Group

Purpose
The Transit Advisory Group provides consultation in the development of coordinated and integrated transit services within Larimer and Weld Counties.
They are responsible for:
- Providing guidance in developing regional transit plans, including those to coordinate transit services, and the Transit Element of the Regional Transportation Plan.
- Providing a forum for local public and private sector transit providers to integrate transit services and plans for transit services within the region.
- Developing the annual Program of Projects with the consultation of interested parties, including the private sector, and recommending a final Program of Projects to the Council.
- Recommending financial forecasts for transit funding to be used by the North Front Range MPO in the development of the Transportation Improvement Program and Program of Projects.
- Recommending allocation of FTA Section 5307 funding for the “Fort Collins Urbanized Area” (Transportation Management Area) for approval by the MPO Planning Council.
- Developing, reviewing and prioritizing transit projects within regional transportation plans.
- Coordinating with the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) overlapping issues and items assigned by the MPO Planning Council.
